Easter Weekend Photo Dump

Before we start with pictures I will tell you that most of these pictures our from our trip to the Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids (a sculpture/garden park)... Every spring they do a butterfly exhibit where they lets hundreds of thousands of butterflies hatch in one giant atrium and you can walk through with all of the butterflies flying around! It is one of my favorite things and I was excited to take Jack. We also didn't do Easter baskets for Jack this year (other than the giant basket of toys my mom bought for him!) because he is a baby and spending the money on it would just be for our own enjoyment and honestly, it's not part of the holiday for us.. YET! 

Here is a peek into our weekend :) 

We Skyped with AuntE & Uncle Justin in our PJ's and took naps with Auntie Megs

We played outside.

We went to Meijer Gardens where Bubba was VERY serious & curious all at the same time

Lots of caterpillars! 

Not pleased with the heat.. so we took a break to roll around in the grass (And eat some too)

Auntie Megs is basically a pro photog.

I am not posting family pictures of Easter because after a weekend of binge eating we were all a bit.. swollen. All in all it was a great time! We are happy to be home and enjoying an extra day with Daddy! 
I hope everyone's Easters were equally as wonderful and blessed :) 

Good Friday

I feel blessed that John gets today off (and Monday too!) It means that we get to spend today and the rest of this holiday weekend with family :) After SEVEN loads of laundry, a two page check list, and a lot of trips up and down the stairs with an impatient baby, we were able to load up the car last night and make it to my parents in great time!

Bubba's new trick, he likes me to put him in this position so he can watch me doing chores!

Yes, all of this for 3 people for 3 days...
I would say that Bubba has settled into relaxation mode at Grandma & Papa's JUST fine.

Oh, and yesterday when I complained about there still not being a decision on my MSU application?? Well I found out what's worse... logging on to see this:

if you can't read that it says, "A decision HAS been made. You should receive final decisions via postal mail shortly."

AKA we made a decision but you have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to find out what it is! AHH!
