On Tuesday night we arrived in Grand Rapids.
After a day of running around doing laundry, going to last minute doctor's appointments, and packing up to leave- it was nice to take a step back and breath before the "madness".
My parents live on a golf course and after a fabulous meal at the club house I put Bubba in his jammies and went "out back" to watch John practice putting and whatnot.
My mom stayed inside so it was just the three of us.
Our little family.
We let Jack crawl freely around the green.
Of course he was most interested in the pin... shock.
We watched Bubba explore with the uninhibited curiousity that only a baby can perfect.
He would look up at us and smile before throwing his head back to squeal and giggle.
It was the perfect time of night - the last half hour before the sun sinks behind the trees.
It was quiet and calm.
Just what we needed after a long day of worry.
