Tids & Bits After a Weekend Away

Holy smokes, I'm tired! 

The heat has a way of really taking it out you! 
We headed back to the lake house Friday night for fireworks... and stayed!It was worth sticking it out because Saturday was BY FAR the best summer day this year!
We took the pontoon boat out into the middle of the lake & linked up with SIX othersYes, that mean there were 7 boats tied together in the middle of our lake. We call this "Rednecking" as in "The Redneck Yacht Club".We float, drink, eat, and listen to music.It is by far, the best!
We put Bubba's baby pool on the boat under the sun shade. He could not have been happier.
Then the most amazing thing happened-The heat wave ended!You could feel the breeze come through that blew it away!
Sunday we enjoyed a morning with cool breezes coming in through the windows.We all rejoiced!It honestly felt like we were going to be hot forever...
But we could not linger long.John and I had tickets to see WICKED!His parents bought them for me for my birthday.The seats could not have been any better!Five rows from the stage and DEAD CENTER.The show was FANTASTIC!!
Now we are home. A little tanner.A lot sleepier.And ready for another week!
