If You Really Knew Me
These posts have been floating around the blog-o-verse for a few weeks now and I couldn't help but decide to join in!
If you really knew me...
... you would know that I'm a talker, but a listener too.
... you would know that I hate to be home alone. I would rather go do something I don't feel like doing than sit at home (let alone sleep at home) alone!
... you would know I've never spent a night alone with Jack. If John has gone out of town, I flee to my parent's house or beg my sister to come and stay!
... you would know that I used to be a sucker for "project" relationships/friendships.
... you would know that I love to sing but have terrible stage fright.
... you would know that I haven't gone a day without wearing something pink in 10 years (even if it's just my underwear)
... you would know that I have a lot of anxiety, and cope with it by talking things out, strategizing, making lists, and planning
... you would know that politics make me REALLY anxious, so I don't often pay as close attention as I should
... you would know that I'm stubborn to a fault but more loyal than most
... you would know that when I told my in-laws I was the quietest person in my family they audibly gasped. I am far from quiet. My family is just really loud.
... you would know that I often avoid seeing people from high school because I feel like no one let me grow up past who I was when I was 16. I do this less often now because I feel less like I have anything to prove.
... you would know that I love to be silly and laughing is my favorite.

You and I have so much in common! I also love to sing but I'm very afraid. I also have anxiety!
I broke down and did an "if you really knew me..." post today!! I love this!
